Here is a great primative bag to fit the need of the long hunter who wants a bag that looks like it were made in the wilds of colonial american back in the 18th century. This simple one pocket design is a careful recreation of an original surviveing bag from the Madison Grant Book of original hunting bags page 22. This bag measures 10 1/2" wide by 91/2" high, plenty large enough to hold all you need in accoutrements. . This bag is available with a 1 1/4" all leather strap or our exclusive 1 1/4" natural jute and cotton webbing. All edges are plain with no binding and the flap has the primative look of being hand cut with primative tools for a realistic original looking bag. Our custom tanned cowhide leather adds to this look with its unique grain and texture. We also offer this same bag in a smaller 8 1/2"W X 9"H size. See the LPB-101

I hunt solely with flintlocks and a longbow. I needed a possibles bag big enough to reach in and get what I need without pulling everything else out. I had a beautiful moose hide bag that wore out after 50 years of use. The gentleman who made it has passed on and this bag should take me to the grave as long as I take care of it. I learned in 74 years that made in America may cost more, but lasts. The Martin and Gibson guitars I have made my living with are a testament to that.

this is the best primative bag you can buy. It is not correct to call it primative as it is truly "Elegant"
