This shot snake is an exact copy of an original from the 1800's  period when Black Powder muzzleloader shotgunning was at its height. Made from our soft american bison leather with a latigo leather strap and brass buckle. The curved shape allows the snake to lay around your body and positions the spout exactly where it needs to be to charge your muzzle. I am only offering this with the English style Head with the  rocker lever as the Irish style in my years of handleing  does not hold up and eaisily breaks. The English head has two adjustments for volume of shot charge. Made to wear on the left side as the originals were.
