Our new ambidextrous design comb raiser comes with everything needed to fit most rifles and shotguns. Kit includes two interchangeable rubber pads, 1/2" and 1", that snap onto the hard molded nylon base. This allows an increase to the comb of the stock from 5/8" to 1 1/8" which will correct most eye alignment problems with rifles and shotguns that are not designed for use with optic sights or those mounted with large belled optic sights. Base can be temporarily mounted with supplied velcro cinch strap and double sided tape with no damage to stock or mounted permanently with two supplied #8 screws by drilling two 5/64" holes in stock and fastening with screws on top of base. Rubber pads snap over top to give unit a clean custom look as part of the stock. This matt black version looks great on black synthetic stocks but we also have available our 3m Walnut vinyl Veneer kit and our own camoflauge Vinyl Veneer Kit to custom match to your stocks color. The rich Walnut veneer looks like the real thing . The Camo veneer is our own design which comes close to most licensed camo patterns being used on shotgun and rifle stocks.Choose which version on the bottom when ordering. This cheek pad has been designed to fit most classic styled stock designs found on shotguns and most sporting rifles. Will not fit thumb hole stocks. Base can be trimmed underneath to allow additional width for some wider stocks. Some long bolt action rifles require the cheek pad to be mounted farther back on the stock to clear the throw of the bolt. Please check this clearance before mounting the cheek pad . If you feel this cheek pad will not fit your stock, you may return it for a full refund.

Unit almost fits my stock perfectly. The added wood grain makes it look very nice.

I've mounted these on many rifles over the years and am always satisfied. I've used the higher and the lower rubber pads and consistently get the cheek weld that I need. I've straped them on, screwed them on and taped them on and they work great - .22LR to .338 Magnum they fit and work as advertised!

I wish this was offered in multiple width sizes, such as "small fits this diameter stock", "medium fits this diameter", etc, and also maybe give a few examples of the guns each size fits. I sanded, ground, and polished the inside for over an hr to make it fit better on my henry golden boy, and it still isn't great. I got it good enough where it doesn't look unusual or bad though. Works great, does what it's supposed to do.

Works great however it would be great if the plastic base was a bit more flexible to fit wider stocks.

I've mounted one of these on every scoped rifle that I've setup. I like the choice of risers. The best!

I recently ordered the Accu-Riser CR-6000 Comb Riser and I could not be more pleased. It was everything it claimed and for some reason, I did not note the inclusion of the attachment screws in the earlier product description. This provides for a more permanent installation that the included velcro strap. The taller of the two inter-changeable cheek pads suited me most and was instantly comfortable. I did how ever find it necessary to add a 1/4" of foam under the forward portion of the saddle because of the forward rake of the pad. Took on a moment to make the quick adjustment without any alteration to the CR-6000. It is impractical to think that one feature will fit everyone. Finding the right Accu-Riser CR-6000 and 5 minutes of tinkering had brought an end to my left-handed, comb height issues. I also think the price of $35.00 was spot on and the USPS shipping is a welcomed change to dealing with overpriced shipping for underweight packages to ALASKA. Good move Gary!

I own a couple of Remington model 721 rifles in 270 and 30-06. Both of these guns are very accurate. However when the rifles were made in the late 40s the stocks were designed to be used with open sights. The comb of the stocks are lower than a modern stock. With a scope it's almost impossible to get a decent cheek weld. I searched for an answer for some time until I found this product. Both rifles now put your eye right on the cross hairs when you throw the rifle up to your shoulder. Very Happy with the results.
